Seville has enough wonderful attractions such as amusement parks, swimming pools or water parks and zoos, especially for (young) children and adults of course. Seville with children is therefore doing great. Ideal to alternate historical culture with active attractions. A small selection of the best top attractions in Seville:
A beautiful, large amusement park and water park. The waterpark (Agua Mágica) is also called the beach of Seville (La playa de Sevilla) and has sparkling pools, water slides, (wild) water rides and many other water activities. In the hot Sevillian summers a delicious refreshment! La Isla Mágica is a theme park with seven parts or areas (including La Agua Mágica) all related to the special history of Seville and the colonies in America. Full of several large and exciting attractions. Do you want to enjoy and experience everything? Then you can spend here easily two or three days. For Kids a Must Do and See!

Also a nice water park located in the east of Seville. The park is smaller than Agua Mágica (Isla Mágica). No combination with a thematic amusement park, as La Isla Mágica, but pure water fun and cool for the hot days! In Auguopolis you will encounter mostly Sevillians taking a refreshing, cool dip. Perfect if you just don't want to meet tourists. Just like Agua Mágica it can be achieved very well by car or bus. See page transport.

For children or young adults an ideal place to experience science in a practical and creative way. Casa de la Ciencia (House of Science) has all year round exhibitions on universal themes of science. For example, the larger and unknown species that inhabit our deep seas or the geological transformations the Earth has undergone or the planetarium. Of course, in particular for the province of Seville and Andalusia.

This magnificent complex was only opened in September 2014 and worth a visit. The Aquarium of Seville (Acuario de Sevilla) is a tribute to and displays the trip around the world by Magallanes. A Portuguese explorer in Spanish service that his journey began in Seville (1519) to prove that it was possible to 'reach the East by the West'. As a visitor you will make a beautiful and adventurous (underwater) journey through the flora and fauna Magallanes and his crew encountered during the trip.

Football is for Spaniards holy and Seville has two major football clubs, with Sevilla FC and Real Betis. Both clubs play in the Primera División. The clubs were founded at the end of the 18th century (Sevilla FC 1890) or early 19th century (Real Betis 1907) and therefore have a long, rich history of Spanish football. Sevilla FC and Real Betis are each other's eternal rivals. In Spain, this derby is one of the largest and most loaded city duels. The Sevillians are therefor for Sevilla FC or Real Betis. Not both.
The stadium of Sevilla FC, Estadio Ramón Sánchez Pizjuán, was founded in 1958 and has 45,500 places. This stadium is on foot or by public transport within easy access from the city center. Real Betis plays its home games at Estadio Benito Villamarín. This stadium has its origins in 1928 and has a capacity of 51,700 spectators. It is one of the largest stadiums in Spain.
You can visit both stadiums for a wonderful tour. Except that you will learn more about the history, you see places that are normally not accessible to the public. A must for football fans. With the following links you can book: Sevilla FC Tour or Real Betis Tour.
The true football fan, of course, goes to a game of Sevilla FC and Real Betis or perhaps both? Tickets are online or via the website available but Sevillians buy the tickets one to two weeks in advance directly at the box office. The tickets are much cheaper than online but there is a risk that they are sold out.

💡 Buy a ticket in the shade!
Seville is sunny and (very) warm. So buy a ticket on the shady side of the stadium. It may be that these cards are slightly more expensive than the sunny side but it is worth every penny!
Just a short 50 kilometers from Seville you will find this large reserve. It's not just a game park or safari where you drive your own car or with a train along predominantly African wildlife. The reserve has various (outdoor) activities. For example, karting, water activities with canoe or boat and much more. A real sea lion show and an impressive falconry show makes it complete. For both children and adults, there is plenty to do for a full day or two. Sleeping and eating is not a problem because the park has its own hotel and plenty of eateries.

Sevilla has a medium sized zoo, located in the city Guillena, about 20 minutes drive away. Your visit can be a great idea if you are traveling with children. It is not comparable with Reserva del Castillo or the zoos of Madrid or Barcelona but that is no obstacle for (young) children to escape on a beautiful day from the big city. In addition to a great diversity of species, the park specializes in botany (bonsais, cactus desert and rainforest). It sometimes needs better maintenance, but that does not detract from the visit...
